Due to the impending inclement weather, the Region 4B games will start earlier tomorrow, February 21, 2023. Freeman Flyers GBB will now play at 4:00 pm in Centerville vs. Alcester-Hudson.

Congratulations to our Marion-Freeman Rebels State Wrestling qualifiers! Brody Gossen (106), Easton Tschetter (113), and Finley McConniel (120) all placed 3rd at Region 2B on Saturday. Riley Tschetter placed 5th and was selected as the alternate at 160. Great job, Rebels!

Save the date for the Freeman FFA Pancake Feed on March 3, 2023 from 7 - 10 AM in the Freeman HS Lunchroom!

Tomorrow we will start with period 1 in grades 7-12 and continue through our schedule. We will have skinny periods to accommodate all classes. Please see the schedule attached.

Freeman School District will start 2 hours late on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023. Buses will run 2 hours late and no breakfast will be served. Parent/Teacher Conferences will remain scheduled for today, but Grandparent day has been postponed to Thursday, February 16th, 2023.

Congratulations to our 2023 Elementary Festival Honor Choir delegates. The students rehearsed all day on Thursday, February 9, 2023 and gave a splendid performance that afternoon. Great job to these students and their teacher, Mrs. Sonja Waltner!

Liz (Mayerlin) Lopez earned second place in the drawing contest, and seven other Freeman students competed in the 2023 ARTWARS competition on the USD campus today. It was a fun day for the Freeman students who attended!

Hats off to our School Counselor, Mrs. Kris Sweeter. This week is National Counselor Appreciation week, and we appreciate everything that Mrs. Sweeter does for our school!

Our music students did a great job at the Region I Music Contest yesterday. Mixed Choir, Girls Glee, Girls 9, & Boys ensembles received superior ratings. Ryleigh Dent and Dorthea Naatjes received superiors for vocal solos, and Claire Hofer received a superior for her piano solo.
