Phoenix softball started the season with a pair of wins in Parkston today. The varsity team won 15-5 behind a 4-4 day from Claire Loofbourrow and solid pitching from Avary Thomas, Harli Ross, and Cadence Hofer. The JV girls won 25-3 after a big 14 run third inning. Go Phoenix!

The Freeman FFA crew competed at the Scotland CDEs earlier today. Here are the top 10 placers from that event. Dairy Judging - 7th place team - Riley Gall & Axle Schultz Food Science- 2nd place team - Adelyn Becker (2nd), Katalyn Juhnke (3rd), Libby Ammann, & Isabel Waltner

After their fantastic concert last night, the FHS Band and HS vocal music groups performed today at the Region I Band & Vocal Music Contest in Vermillion. All groups received superior ratings. Great job to our talented Flyer musicians!

The Freeman School Board election will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Freeman City Hall. Please see the attached sample ballot for details.

The Phoenix softball JV quad originally scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM in Marion has been cancelled. The Varsity DH scheduled for the same day in Parkston has now been changed to a Varsity game followed by a JV game. The varsity game will start at 4:30 PM.
